Wildcrafted Ledum palustre (syn. Rhododendron tomentosum) aerial parts. This herb is known as Marsh Labrador Tea, and Marsh Rosemary. Marsh Labrador tea has traditionally been used as an ingredient in gruit ale in the Middle Ages for its spicy aroma, bitter taste, and psychoactive properties. Beer made with it causes an intense intoxication, often followed by a bad headache. Overdose on Marsh Rosemary causes aggressive behavior, confusion, headache, joint pain, and other unpleasant effects.
We sell this herb for its aromatic values; Not for human consumption.
